If your Medco has a telemedicine user account, they will be able to see all of the cases you post. However they will not receive email notifications when new cases have been posted. If you would like to alert your Medco to a case you have posted, you can follow the instructions below:
Step 1: First, submit your case
Step 2: Open the case and scroll down to the section Comments,
and you can add a note that you would like to send to your Medco (example:
“please review this case”)
Step 3: Click the Add MedCos button. If the email address of your Medco does not appear in the Notify box, it means that your Medco does not have an active telemedicine account. You can let them know to email telemedicine@toronto.msf.org to request account access.
Step 4: Click Send. This will save your comment to the case, and your Medco will receive an email containing the case number.
FOR MEDCOS:
If you have access to a telemedicine account, you should be able to login and see all of the telemedicine cases posted by each of your project teams.
If you would like to be notified by email when your project staff posts a telemedicine case, you will have to ask them to follow the instructions above each time they post a case. Unfortunately, at this time there is no way to automate this.
If you have any questions, please contact our support team by emailing telemedicine@toronto.msf.org
