What should I do if I’m not able to respond to a case?

What should I do if I’m not able to respond to a case?

If you are unable to respond to a case without reasonable delay, you should REFUSE the case so it can be re-allocated to another specialist.

If you are unable to respond to a case because you are on holiday or leave, you should mark your profile as unavailable. For instructions on updating your availability, click here

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR SPECIALIST INVOLVED IN CLINICAL CASE DISCUSSIONS (CCD)

If you are a specialist working with the Clinical Case Discussion (CCD) service, please do not refuse cases.

In CCD, you are not expected to immediately respond within the case, as you will discuss the case during the scheduled video call with your assigned MSF Project. Please always accept cases allocated to you, as this signals the MSF Project team that you have seen the case and are preparing for your call.
